Additional notes on animal behaviors:
🎃🐾 Meet Pumpkinhead 🐾🎃 Pumpkinhead is a 3-year-old male cat who has already been through more than his fair share. He was found outside with injured legs and open wounds, but thanks to veterinary care and lots of TLC, he is recovering really well and just needs a couple more bandage changes while he finishes healing. 💛 Despite everything he’s been through, Pumpkinhead has proven to be an absolute gentleman at the vet—the staff adore him, and he clearly enjoys the attention and care they give him. In the shelter he can get a little scared if he feels cornered in his cage, and may give a warning swat, but he does not bite. He’s simply a cat who needs to feel safe and understood. Pumpkinhead is FIV positive, so he should be the only cat in the home. With the right person and a calm environment, he has so much love and companionship to offer. He just needs someone willing to look past his rough start and give him the stable, loving home he deserves. 🧡 If you’d like to give this sweet boy a second chance, please reach out. 📞 Interested in adopting Pumpkinhead? Call NECCOG Animal Services at 860-774-1253 to learn more. Please share to help Pumpkinhead find the loving home he deserves! 🐱
