Meet Sassy, a 1 year old female cat looking for a patient and understanding home. Sassy came to us after her owner had to make the difficult decision to surrender her while moving. Sassy is very scared and jumpy right now while adjusting to shelter life. She is overwhelmed by all the new sights, sounds, and changes around her, and she will need time and patience to learn to trust and feel comfortable again. Despite being frightened, she has not been aggressive — she is simply unsure and nervous in this new environment. Sassy does well with other cats. It is currently unknown how she does with dogs. She would do best in a calm home with someone willing to give her the space, kindness, and understanding she needs to come out of her shell at her own pace.
