Sammy is great with kids and does well with other dogs, making him a wonderful companion for an active family. However, he would do best in a home without cats.

i would like to adopt Sammy. please, contact me 860- 931-9382. I live in Putnam. He looks like our dog, who passed away last year. we adopted Benny 16 years ago and he lived with us all this years. he died wen he was 18-eyars old. we adopted Benny from Coventry RI shelter when my son was 8-years old. Now he is 23. when we adopted Benny he was about 3-yars old. He lived with us all this years and had had happy dog life. I still have everything – all the documents (since we adopted him) ….even his toys… and even his harness….i still kipping it….i dont know why….. because Benny was our baby, most loved one in our family. Benny was biggle-paggle mix and most sweetest and kind dog!!!! it was a real tragedy to lose our most sweetest member of family. but he got old and doctor gave him about 2-3 month to live (because kidney failure), so we had to say good by my sweet baby last year in April…. i still cant except our loss….i still have a dreams – in my dreams he still alive….. That is why i could not think about adopting another dog for all this time….. But when sow Sammy …. my heart is melted….. he reminds me of Benny. I am very interested in Sammy, I stopped by to see him in his kennel yesterday and he was howling at me. He would be perfect with my 2 babies. My Bassett and my Beagle Corgi mix would welcome him into their home. Look forward to meeting him tomorrow. Brenda Nowak

I wish I could upload Benny’s picture, but i dont know how…. but he looks so much like Sammy…his face…look of his eyes…. i think Sammy is sweet and loving dog as my Benny was. I hope with me he will find a good, peaceful, loving home. thank you. I love all animals soooo much, especially dogs. Though… not much cat-lover. My daughter – she is. She has four kids and three cats (all broth from out street by kids). :).
I sent first comment and I dont see it….. I told about my dog Benny, who we lost last ear because he was old and was his time to rest… in first comment I told a story about having our sweet Benny from a very fist time to the end of his life. He lived with us happy 16 years (we adopted him at his 2), he past away last yeas when he was 18.
