Meet Nelly, an approximately 2 year old female cat looking for a patient and loving home. Nelly came to us after her owner had to make the difficult decision to surrender her while moving. Like the other cats from the home, Nelly is very scared and nervous while adjusting to shelter life, but she has been very sweet despite being overwhelmed. She is not aggressive at all — just unsure and frightened by all the sudden changes around her. Nelly does well with other cats. It is currently unknown how she does with dogs. She would do best in a calm home with someone willing to give her patience, kindness, and time to come out of her shell and feel safe again.
