Additional notes on animal behaviors:
🌨️ Meet Princesa 🌨️ This sweet 6-month-old German Shepherd mix has already faced more hardship than any puppy should. Found outside alone in the cold, Princesa came to us terrified, unsure, and overwhelmed by the world around her. Princesa is extremely nervous in the shelter environment, and she’s looking for a very special adopter who can help her feel safe again. She needs a large-breed experienced owner—someone patient, calm, and understanding of fearful dogs. With slow introductions, gentle reassurance, and consistent support, she has every chance to grow into the confident, loyal companion we know she can be. Right now, Princesa needs time, stability, and a quiet home that can meet her where she is emotionally. She isn’t just looking for any home—she’s looking for the right home that will help her learn the world isn’t such a scary place after all. If you have experience with shy or fearful dogs and want to make a life-changing difference, Princesa may be the perfect match. 💛 Come meet Princesa and show her what it feels like to be truly safe and loved. 💛
