Twix

Meet Twix, he is a Appaloosa Gelding in his early 20’s. This sweet boy was owner surrendered to Neccog, Twix was extremely under weight when he came in, he is now slowly putting some weight back on. Twix is a very special boy that is looking for a companion home only. He is under veterinary care and needs to have soaked feed three to four times a day and this will continue for him the rest of his life. Twix can eat hay but will not gain weight on it as he has a hard time chewing. He has had his teeth floated, farrier has been out and he is up to date with his shots. Twix has a large heart murmur, he at one point had his cheek bone shattered he also has a parrot mouth which makes him eat and chew a little differently and he chokes. Twix is a very special boy who doesn’t mind other horses but prefers people, he lights up when he is around kids and absolutely adores them. He cross ties, stands for the farrier, loves getting treats and being brushed, stands for a bath, he also can lunge. Our wish for Twix is to find a home as a companion where he can be spoiled and loved on by kids.
