She ran away from home and was missing for two weeks before she was found in the woods, severely underweight. When her owners located her here at the shelter, they made the difficult decision to surrender her so she could have the opportunity to find the home that best fits herneeds. Her previous family shared that Cappy is an incredibly gentle, loving dog. However, after welcoming a new baby, she became increasingly stressed as the baby started crawling. Cappy is sensitive to loud noises and busy environments, so she's looking for a peaceful, quiet home where she can truly relax. Cappy forms strong bonds with her people and would thrive with someone who is home often and can spend plenty of quality time with her. She's not food aggressive at all and is currently being fed three meals a day to help her regain the weight she lost.
